Another week comes to an end as we concluded with part 4 of CRi’s New Year’s Traditions featuring a special post on Denver. Celebrations do not seem complete without fireworks to light up the sky. This New Year’s Eve, the city of Denver is throwing a huge celebration with, you guessed it, fireworks.

Much like the city of Omaha and many others around the nation and even world, Downtown Denver will sparkle with fireworks. The event has been a 16 year tradition with two shows. The first begins at 9pm with the second to follow at midnight. Best viewpoints are suggested along the 16th Street Mall. Both celebrations are identical and will be synchronized to the music playlist form live DJs along the mall. While the DJs will provide entertainment all night long, the show will last for about 8 minutes.

Please note, between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m., RTD Light Rail trains will not cross the 16th Street Mall, and mall ride shuttles will stop temporarily during the two fireworks shows.

Denver will be busy all night long with parties and special events all across the city. From a complete list of events, visit https://www.denver.org/things-to-do/fall-winter/denver-new-years-eve/

From everyone at CRi, have a safe and happy new year!
