As the holiday weekend approaches, CRi concludes this week’s series on holiday traditions with a special feature. What better way to celebrate tradition than to include the old and the new. CRi is expanding to Colorado making Denver part of the family. Family shares tradition and so it is only right to take time to recognize another great city’s holiday traditions.
A classic Christmas story, The Polar Express, comes to life at the Colorado Rail Road Museum about 25 minutes outside of Denver. The children’s tale is not just for kids, however. With a theatrical re-creation, the whole family can climb aboard The Polar Express Train Ride and be immersed in the magic and wonder of the holiday season. The journey includes a trip to the North Pole and a visit from Santa. This Christmas adventure is sure to create memories for all ages.
Denver also shares several traditions that are similar to those here in Omaha. Some include tree lighting ceremonies, caroling, Christmas markets, and more. For more ways to celebrate the holidays in Denver, visit: https://www.denver.org/milehighholidays/explore-the-holidays/holiday-traditions/
Merry Christmas from all of us here at CRi!
