Incorporated in 1999, CRi is a Nebraska-based corporation that has received several awards for its growth and quality of service and excellence in business. Susan Thaden, President

Sue is committed to ensuring the company’s culture is centered on service and values, and that everything CRi does is to serve our clients and employees. She founded CRi in 1999 with the goal of being a recognized and proven leading provider of IT consulting services and solutions. With nearly 20 years of experience in the information technology industry, she has participated in every aspect of the business. Since the company’s inception, Sue has developed a strong leadership team that works closely together to keep the company culture on track and the business growing.

She has received several leadership awards, including the “40 under 40” leadership award from the Midlands Business Journal and is a graduate of Leadership Omaha. Sue serves on the Board of Directors for TechServe Alliance (TSA) and has held a position on the TSA national executive roundtable since 2000. She is a member on the Omaha Economic Development Council, holds a seat on the Board of Directors with the Omaha Chamber of Commerce and has been involved in an Executive coaching Program as a Strategic Coach since 2001. Sue earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Communications from the University of Nebraska Lincoln.

Steve Wilbur, Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Steve brings 20 years of leadership and operational expertise helping companies determine optimal growth strategies. His experience spans Solutions, Staffing, Advertising, Agriculture and Military industries. He is a proven leader who is successful in developing people into leaders and groups of individuals into highly functioning teams. Steve earned a Masters in Business (MBA) from the University of Houston and a Bachelors Degree (BS) in National Security from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Jackie Austin, Vice President

As Vice President, Jackie brings over 20 years experience as a technology professional and executive leadership in information technology. She has been with CRi for over 10 years and currently oversees the IT Consulting Services organization and Solutions Group. Jackie serves in a key role and is instrumental in creating and implementing unique service offerings for clients to support their changing environments and objectives. She is proven and successful in building and leading highly motivated, results-oriented teams who create and operate effective and efficient systems to meet end-user current and expanding needs. Jackie earned a Masters Degree in Computer Science and Math from the University of South Dakota.

Colleen Murta, Controller / Facility Security Officer

Colleen brings 25 years experience in accounting, finance and human resources. Since joining CRi in 2006, she has been a key member of the company’s leadership team. Colleen manages all of the company's finance functions, including accounting, budgeting, tax, internal audit, financial planning, and treasury, in order to support company operations. She also serves as the company Facility Security Officer, ensuring compliance with facility and industry regulations. Prior to joining CRi, Colleen worked for three large publicly trading companies. Her history includes several years of experience directly related to the Information Technology industry providing strong financial and accounting structure and strategic reporting and analysis.


		Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation CRi has supported the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation since 1999. Nearly 75 CRi employees and their families participate in the JDRF's Walk for a Cure in Sioux Falls, SD, and Omaha each year, raising thousands of dollars for use in finding a cure. The JDRF's mission is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.

		American Diabetes Association The mission of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. CRi has supported the ADA since 2000 through its involvement in the annual Swing for a Cure golf event.

		Cystic Fibrosis Foundation The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is a non-profit, donor-supported organization whose mission is to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease. It hosts a variety of special events to raise funds to support vital cystic fibrosis programs. CRi has sponsored and participates in the Omaha chapter's Nebraska Golf Classic held each summer since 2005.

		American Cancer Society CRi supports the American Cancer Society by organizing two Relay for Life teams annually - one in Omaha and another in Waverly, NE - since 2005. Teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times. Money raised is used for research and other programs. The American Cancer Society's mission is to eliminate cancer as a major health problem.

		Christian Urban Education Service Christian Urban Education Service (CUES) is the non-profit organization that provides financial support and operational guidance for Sacred Heart School in Omaha. Sacred Heart is a Catholic, mission elementary school for children of all faiths. CUES oversees the operation of the school and raises 90% of Sacred Heart's budget through donations and grants. CRi has been a supporter of CUES since 2000.

		Special Olympics Nebraska Dozens of brave CRi consultants and staff have plunged into the freezing waters of Lake Zorinsky to raise thousands of dollars for Special Olympics Nebraska each year since the inception of Omaha's Polar Bear Plunge five years ago. The Special Olympics is a non-profit organization funded entirely by private donations from individuals, companies, foundations, and civic organizations.


		Greater Omaha Chamber CRi is proud to be a member of the Greater Omaha Chamber since CRi was founded in 1999. The Greater Omaha Chamber is one of the country’s largest with more than 3,300 member businesses, ranging from thousands of employees to those with fewer than 10. CRi President Susan Thaden joins the Chamber’s Board of Directors in 2011.

		Women's Business Enterprise National Council The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), founded in 1997, is the nation's leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America's corporations. It also is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the United States. CRi has received certification as a woman-owned business through WBENC every year since 2005.

		TechServe Alliance TechServe Alliance (formerly NACCB) is the only national trade association exclusively serving IT services companies. CRi President Susan Thaden is currently serving on TechServe’s Board of Directors as Vice-President of the Executive Committee.

		National Women's Business Owners Corporation The National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC) has led the way for women business owners to obtain WBE Certification.
